Horror Island (1941)

By the numbers Universal horror features the usual group of strangers in an old dark house (with secret chambers and hidden passages, of course) on an island looking for pirate’s treasure. There’s a bit of Agatha Christie’s TEN LITTLE INDIANS as they slowly get bumped off one by one and the usual inane comedy relief, this time provided by Fuzzy Knight. It’s mercifully brief at barely an hour. Dick Foran, Leo Carrillo, Peggy Moran and Iris Adrian co-star.
